Rest In Peace Sarge

Darryl (Sarge) Sargent
April 13, 1960 --- December 19, 2007

I don't know how to say this, but Darryl (SARGE) passed away yesterday following a car accident Sunday night. I know he would have wanted you all to know. You all made such a difference in his life. It meant everything to him to know he was not alone. God bless you all.

Because we’re born moving, we often take motion for granted as much as we do breathing. The fact that we can turn our head, lift our finger, scratch an itch on the back of our leg, or do a myriad of other things doesn’t create much of a stir in our day-to-day existence. It’s not until something devastating happens that takes that movement away before we realize just what we were taking for granted. Without a doubt, one of the most debilitating and life-altering events comes as a result of spinal cord injuries. Paralinks: WheelChair Nation's discussion forums discuss everything from having a spinal cord injury to everyday life. Please come join us!

Why Legalizing Marijuana Makes Sense

Time Mag.
Thursday, Apr. 02, 2009

(Okay, granted that Joe Klien has some messed up views on politics sometimes, this particular issue is not going away and ‘Pot’ will eventually be a part of our ‘legal’ indulgences if this is what it can be called, along with whiskey gin vodka wine beer and tobacco $80 ‘T’ shirts and $200 jeans made by slave labor at about 20 cents an hour)
